Wegmans is a major grocery retail chain based in the US. It was initially called the Rochester Food & Vegetable Company and later on Wegmans.

Founded by Wegman Bros 1916 Fruit & Vegetable Company
Purchased the Seel Grocery Co 1920s Expanded their operations
Store were incorporated as Wegmans Food Market Introduced refrigerated display windows and vaporized water sprays to keep 1930s produce fresh
