Thomas McMahon Superintendent Created Two New K-12 Districts

Thomas McMahon Superintendent is a highly professional individual who has dedicated several years of his life to the development of education sector in New Jersey. He is a resident of Toms River, which is located at the distance of 110 miles from the south of Manhattan, and fifty five miles east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Currently a Business Administrator at Barnegat Township School District, Thomas previously served as the youngest Assistant Commissioner of Education in charge of Finance for the state of New Jersey.

In this position, he was tasked with the job of forecasting, evaluating and communicating various finance related implications in education policy decisions. He has earned immense reputation among his seniors and colleagues for his friendly nature and hard-working attitude.

A former resident of Barnegat, New Jersey, Thomas McMahon Superintendent has held various administrative level positions in many school districts including Plumsted Township School District, Toms River Regional School District, Plumsted Township School District and Willingboro School District.

He is a highly qualified individual who graduated from Monmouth University with 3.91 grade point average out of 4, and obtained his Masters degree in aEducational Administration & Supervision from Jersey City State College, Jersey City, New Jersey.

Aside from that, he also holds a doctorate degree in Administration & Supervision from Rutgers Universitya leading education institution that was established in 1766 and is well known for its commitment to offering quality education to students. He created 2 new K-12 districts; one in 1997 at Plumsted Township, and another in 2004 at Barnegat Township School District.

Moreover, Thomas McMahon Superintendent is also associated with several welfare organizations and participates in several causes for the benefit of community. As a respectable chairman of Watchful Shepherd program, he works hard to fulfill his commitment to preventing child abuse, and makes efforts to protect children from all types of abuse including family violence.

Moreover, he was also an honorary member of the Board of Directors of The Association of Retarded Citizens, Ocean County. This organization works for the benefit of mentally disabled individuals in the society. Thomas McMahon Superintendent was given the J.C. Penney Golden Rule Award in 1998, in recognition of his dedicated services to the community.
