Juvenile delinquency, also known as juvenile offending, or youth crime, is participation in illegal behavior by minors (juveniles) who fall under a statutory age limit Juvenile delinquent is a person between the ages of 15 & 17 who indulged in anti social activity

Juvenile delinquency in psychological term


According to, psychologist, any & every child, of either sex, between the ages of 15 & 18, who commits a crime, irrespective of the fact that he is apprehended or not, is a juvenile delinquent. NEWMEYER- a delinquent is a person under the age who is guilty of anti-social and whose misconduct is an infraction of law.

Juvenile delinquent
A juvenile delinquent is a person who is typically under the age of 18 and commits an act that otherwise would've been charged as a crime if they were an adult. In recent years, the average age for first arrest has dropped significantly, and younger boys and girls are committing these crimes These can range from status offenses (such as underage smoking), to property crimes, to violent crimes .
