An Introduction

Introduction

 Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is


a non-ethnic, non-sectarian, open to all,
independent, North America wide, grass
root organization.

Goal

The goal of ICNA shall be to seek the


pleasure of ALLAH (SWT) through the
struggle of establishment of Islamic way
of life as spell out in Qur’an and Sunnah
of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Program

1. To invite mankind to submit to the Creator by


using all means of communications.
2. To motivate Muslims to perform their duty of
being witnesses unto mankind by their words
and deeds.
3. To organize those who agree to work for this
cause in the discipline of ICNA.
4. To offer educational and training opportunities
to increase Islamic knowledge, to enhance
character, and to develop skills for all those
who are associated with ICNA.

5. To oppose immorality and oppression in all


forms, and support efforts for civil liberties and
socio-economic justice in the society.
6. To strengthen the bond of humanity by serving
all those in need anywhere in the world, with
special focus on our neighborhood across
North America.
7. To cooperate with other organizations for the
implementation of this program and unity in
the Muslim ummah.

 Inviting Mankind to Submit to the Creator is the
top priority of ICNA.

 Major Activities for Dawah include:
Dawah field trips; Toll-Free number for non-
Muslims; Distribution of Islamic literature;
Dawah through Masajid; Dawah by Mail;
Dawah through Media; Dawah in Prisons;
Campus Dawah Support; Dawah Flyers Online;
Dawah through Email, dicussion forum, bill
board, boooth in mall, library program, etc.

Sister Wing

 ICNA Sisters Wing is very active in


organizing activities for Muslim sisters all
around the North America. This division
of ICNA has its local units in all major
cities. Sister activities include Quran and
Hadith based study circles, training
camps and other Dawah programs.

Young Muslims
 ICNA has established a separate
division to organize all the youth
activities. YM arranges summer and
winter camps, youth Neighbor Nets and
other activities for long-term
development of youth as true Muslims.
Brothers for Faith and Action and Sisters
for Faith and Action are two divisions of
YM.

 The Message is Islamic news magazine.


 Delivered stories and articles that
provide Muslims with tools to stay
informed and to think about Islam and
the contemporary world.

US and Canada with a combined

ICNA Relief
 ICNA Relief is division of ICNA with the
objective of strengthening the bond of humanity
by serving all those in need anywhere in the
world, with special focus on our neighborhood
across North America.
 In addition to providing humanitarian aid to
Muslims abroad it is actively trying to establish
services for the needy in poor neighborhoods in
cities across North America.

Membership

 Any Muslim brother or sister can become


a member of ICNA if he/she agrees with
our goal and program.

Leadership

 ICNA leadership is elected through a


secret ballot and decisions are made
through the process of consultation
(shura).

Funding

 ICNA does not solicit or accept funds


from any government or their agencies.

 All fund are collected by volunteer


contribution of it’s members and
supporters.

Islamic movement in USA
 We cooperate with any other
organizations for the implementation of
this program and unity in the ummah.
 Islamic work is extensive no one
organization can cover all aspect.
