Manpower Planning
The projected number of people for the expansion of

work is considered to be around 1000 personnel. That is, 900 vacant posts created due to expansion of business by opening another production plant and, A high attrition rate of 6.25% from the previous manpower in the organization of 1600 men.

Production Fill Up Details


There was previously 800 men working in the production department. Now 700 are added to the previous men as there are new machinery included in the working that allows us to reduce 100 men instead of doubling our man power.

H. R. Fill Up Details
Previously the distribution of the H. R. team was 40 men for the office and another 20 for the plant, therefore another 20 is required for the new plant, making the total man power requirement for the H. R. dept. 80.

Inventory Fill Up Details


In inventory, 100 was required so as to manage the inventory of one plant, now another 100 men are required to do the same for the new plant.

IT dept. and Clerks Fill Up Details


The IT department was distributed with 70 men in the

office and 30 in the plant. But now due to the introduction of the new computerized machinery , another 50 men are required for the new plant. There shall be 10 clerks for the office and 10 for each plant.

Production and H. R. Recruitment


In the production field, the old employees from the

old plant who have experience shall be trained to handle the new machinery and shifted to the new plant, and the remaining new positions shall be filled from external sources. For HR, all recruitments shall be from external sources where the employees are all experienced.

New employees from external sources shall be made to

join the old plant and the experienced men from the old plant shall be placed in the new plant and trained to work faster to meet the growing needs of the new machinery. In the IT department, the men shall be recruited from external sources. The clerks shall also be taken from external sources.

Application Scrutiny
The applications shall be scrutinized based on the

qualifications required for the different works they are to be posted for. Examples :
- The people in the production department shall have to

be semi-skilled and skilled as they are to be handling the machinery. They are to be skill literate. - The men for the IT departments shall have to be able to handle all kinds of computerized equipments and adapt to the latest technologies in the market.

Interview
The interviews for all the posts shall be held in their respective manners, examples : Production shall go through a nominal direct interview and stress interview too. Inventory and clerical jobs shall go through a rigorous stress interview in order to checkthe amount of pressure they can handle. IT and HR shall have to go through panel interviews and group interviews.

Reference
References of the new employees shall have to be inquired from their previous employers so as to check upon their work habit, their loyalty and their productivity or from their previous institutes for the same if, they are fresh pass outs.

Physical Test
The men for the production department and inventory management department shall have to be put through physical tests so as to check on whether they can withstand the long working hours without their health's getting affected.

Psychological Tests
These are the test that a HR manager shall have to go through. An HR manager should himself have a sound psychological conditions in order to handle the organizations man power.

Placement
The employees are placed in their respective eligible positions in which they are best suited to and comfortable and designated to work with.

Induction
Familiarizing the employees with the prevailing organizational culture and giving a jest about the norms and working patterns of the entrusted jobs so as to help them work positively and help them contribute to the organizational goals.
