AUSTRIA BULGARIA

The trip is being organised and run by Bebington District Explorer Scout Leaders. The Trip leader will be Keith Fewtrell. To assist us we are looking at the following companies: PGL JEKA Venture Abroad
To keep the cost down, this is likely to be by coach. There is an option to look at flights however this is likely to add at least 100 to the trip. Travel by coach will include driving overnight allowing us to sleep. Travel Time will dependant on the resort.
Prices we have been looking at include breakfast, lunch and dinner in resort. The only meals that are not included are travelling to and from the resort. With this it is likely you will be asked to provide a packed lunch for your child for the outward journey. We will then arrange a packed lunch for the journey home. Any dietary requirements can be catered
ALL abilities can be catered for in resort. However, to allow novices to enjoy BEAST even more we would recommend taking a couple of ski lessons before the trip to learn the basics. We will look at the options of providing these. N.B. This will be at an additional cost, but will be done as cheap as possible.
We are looking to pack the camp full of adventurous activities on SNOW!! We will also get the opportunity to learn about the culture of the country we visit All adventurous activities will be done with experienced, qualified instructors. We will be taking out a comprehensive travel insurance policy with Unity Insurance Services.
Likely to be a 9 day BEAST, starting on Saturday. Details as follows: Day 1: Start the journey by coach arriving in time for an early evening ferry. Day 2: Continue the journey, stopping for breakfast, to resort arriving in time for the evening meal
Days 3 - 8: Daily skiing including 4 hours per day of tuition. Apres ski: Some evening activities can be arranged, at an extra cost, depending on the resort we go to. Generally, all in-hotel facilities are free to use.
Day 8: Depart the ski resort after a days skiing and evening meal travelling overnight to Calais. Day 9: Early morning ferry to the UK and onward journey home.
This is based on the best price to date. This includes the option to book a Flexi Ski option through PGL. What is this? Essentially we book with PGL and they choose the resort we go to. We find out in October 2012 where we are going.
