Introduction of wireless led Led Wireless led Working Application Advantage Disadvantage conclusion

Wireless telecommunic ations is the transfer of information between two or more points that are not physically connected. Distances can be short, such as a few meters for television remote control, or as far as thousands or even millions of kilometers for deep-space radio communications.

Wireless led is work on the principal of induction. They can transmit the message signal without the use of wires so they are called WIRELESS LED. They used the fm modulation for modulation of audio frequency signal. They are mainly avaliable in red colour.

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor light source. LEDs are used as indicator lamps in many devices and are increasingly used for other lighting. Introduced as a practical electronic component in 1962, early LEDs emitted low-intensity red light, but modern versions are available across the visible, ultraviolet, and infrared wavelengths, with very high brightness.

important characteristic is that they are semiconductor devices capable of fast switching with the addition of appropriate electronics. LEDs can be used as communication devices for transmitting and broadcasting audio and digital information. Hence, they can become part of wireless optical communication systems. This article describes an information system for the broadcasting of audio and digital signals using visible LEDs.

Due to its low power consumption and maintenance led are being exchanged with incandescent lights in us and other countries. It consumes only 15-20w power in compare to incandescent light 150w ,which become very costly when used in array of traffic lights. These led,s are used for transmitting the message ,that can be announced until the next signal is change. These led are used for broadcasting the local traffic information to both pedestrains and local users.

The superiority of wireless light emitting diodes (LEDs) over incandescent lights, due to long life expectancy, high tolerance to humidity, low power consumption, and minimal heat generation, is well supported. No need of wire in wireless led. To control the traffic signals. Transfer the information, signal easily from one place to another place.

High setup cost Necessity of strong network. They are only used for short distance communicatoin. Maintenance of wireless is not easy. LED performance largely depends on the ambient temperature of the operating environment. LEDs must be supplied with the voltage above the threshold and a current below the rating. This can involve series resistors or current-regulated power supplies.

High-brightness LEDs are getting more popular and are opening up a number of new applications, especially with improved efficiency and new colors. Wireless led based on the fast switching of LEDs and the modulation of visible light is developed into a new kind of information system. It can be used as an information beacon for short-distance communication.
