GOALIE TRY OUT


Anyone who wants to try out for goalie next year for girls soccer and is interested in receiving training during the preseason needs to speak to Coach Boagni in room 2313 by the end of this week. Previous goalie experience is not required

CONGRATS TO THE ORCHESTRAS


Three out of four won best in class, and Chamber Strings received the award for Outstanding Performance for the entire event in San Antonio. Additionally, Sarah Garber, Andrea Chen, and Marcia Chen were awarded commendations for their solo work.

Swim Team tryouts


May 10th @ 3:30 for current CHS students & 4:30 for 8th graders @ Don Cook Natatorium. Please have all the athletics paperwork filled out from athletics website. You do need to be able to swim all four strokes to try out. any questions email Coach OSullivan at

2nd Annual Invisible Children Soccer Tournament


Thursday, April 19th from 4-8pm no soccer experience is necessary 7 members per team -at least 2 must be girls. Each team will get to represent a country of their choosing. Selection of countries is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Games will be played on half-size fields and you are guaranteed at least two games! registration -- $35 per team, or $5 per person. Teams register and pay at lunch from Thursday April 12th- Wednesday 18th. Questions - see Mrs. Badillo in room 1317.

The annual Clements Spring Blood Drive is Tues., April 17th. St. Lukes Hospital Blood Bank will be setting up in girls gym for donors from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Parents, staff & students age 17 & older encouraged to donate. Please contact, Mrs. Hoogerwerf, for more information. Although 17 year olds are not required by law to have parental consent, CHS feels it is important to communicate to parents their students intention to donate blood. parental consent attached.

CHOIR RECEIVED ALL ONES FROM JUDGES AT CONTEST! Clements took CHS sent more choirs to UIL than any other school in the region

8 QUALIFY FOR TRACK REGIONALS


Winning District Championships with a 1st place finish were: Christine Tran pole vault, Niki Barrow 3200, Hannah Patterson 1600 Also qualifying for the Regional track meet were: DeMarcus Cobb 2nd 300 hurdles/3rd 110 hurdles, Jay Pecheux 2nd pole vault, Russell Farley 3rd pole vault, Michael Erickson 2nd in both 1600 & 3200, Erica Rudoff 2nd pole vault. Also scoring points were: DeMarcus Cobb 4th long jump, Trevor Moore 6th long jump/5th triple jump, LaDavia Pope 5th in 400 The girls team finished in 4th place and the boys team finished in 5th place in the team standings.

The tennis team completed a sweep of the district tournament by winning all 6 team titles. The Varsity, JV, and Freshmen in both boys and girls were successful in defending their titles from last year.

PROM GUIDELINES
Attire for the evening is formal wear. Please dress appropriately. If you or your date is inappropriately dressed, you will not be permitted to enter. If you leave prom ballroom/ foyer area, you will not be readmitted. prom King & Queen will be announced promptly at 11:30 p.m. (Prom court must be at stage area at 11:15 in order to participate.) Voting for prom King and Queen will be at prom. Only seniors can vote. ballot will close at 10:30 p.m.
