He is the Chairman of LANDMARK INTERNATIONAL ( DUBAI) His spouse is MS.RENUKA JAGTIANI

ABOUT MR. MICKY JAGTIANI


The Man comes from a humble background Dropped out of School at an early age and drove taxis and changed beds in a hotel near Earls Court for a living. Lost his entire Family at the age of 21. Started his first store called Babyshop in 1973, where he sold clothes, toys, prams and furniture.

Today his Dubai based $1.5 billion Landmark Group sells clothes, furniture, shoes and homewares in more than 840 stores It has presence in 15 countries world-over including Jordan, India, China, Spain, Pakistan and Egypt

Mr Mickey Jagtiani has been awarded with the award of Retail Personality of the year-2007 and The Entrepreneur of the year 2008

SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT LIFE Trust implements such programmes as

Career Counseling, Effective Study Habits, Digital Classrooms, Assigns a computer teacher to teach computer basics like MS Word, Paint , Promotes Extracurricular Activities ,

LIFE LEARNING DISABILITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME


They conduct testing, diagnosis, remediation, counseling and certification, free of cost, for the children of Mumbai, with the aim of detecting slow learners and preventing drop outs.

TSUNAMI RELIEF OPERATIONS


LIFE was successful in collecting relief material from donations that were then distributed in 4 villages.

Food supply was provided for 570 families in 3 villages, for a month. 18 vanfulls of new clothes.
9 medical camps around Chennai were organised and medicines and First Aid was provided by LIFE Doctors.

MUMBAI FLOOD RELIEF OPERATIONS

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
To empower women, to be economically independent, aware and attain social leadership. Women are given education & counseling, social awareness, independence and employment.

INTEGRATED CHILD DEVELOPMENT SCHEME


To boost the spirit of the teachers and equip them with necessary training, and to lay the foundations for proper psychological, physical and social development of children in the Slums of Mumbai.

OUR HOME
Our Home was established in the year 2000 and caters to orphan children in Chennai. The vision of Our Home is to provide holistic development to 25 children from their childhood till the time they are independent to live their own lives.

BEAT DIABETES
Through the 'Beat Diabetes' initiative, our mission is to create awareness & educate people about Diabetes, along with ways and means of coping with this condition. The 'Beat Diabetes' movement started in UAE and will be spread to all countries where Landmark Group currently operates.

SOME OF THE RECENT ACTIVITIES TAKEN UP TO BEAT DIABETES. Join the Walk was the first Beat Diabetes initiative where the Group brought the community together through a walkathon. Take the Test was initiated to act on the belief that diabetes if detected early, could be treated along with lifestyle changes to greatly reduce the risks associated. Enjoy the Music kicked off with an exclusive concert also serving as a fundraiser, where the proceeds of over AED 150,000 were handed over to

These initiatives taken by MR. JAGTIANI and his company is a sole representation of the person he is. A person who is honest, dedicated, hardworking, humble, lives a simple life, travels economy class, drives himself to work in his only car - a Mercedes - and sleeps every night on the floor of his ten-bedroom villa.
