Basic Concepts
Call source refers to a subscriber or incoming trunk originating a call. Each call source has an integral number: call source code. For the MSOFTX3000, incoming calls may come from A interface, Iu interface and incoming trunk.
It is a set of dialed numbers or prefixes. It is associated with the called number prefix.
One number initial set may relate to multiple call sources, while one call source should relate only to one number initial set.
Internal Use
Basic Concepts
Call Prefix:
Call prefix is a number segment cut from a called number; the cut starts with the first digit of the called number.
Internal Use
Basic Concepts
The route selection source code specifies different outgoing routing strategies of different call sources. The route selection source code relates to the call source.
A route selection code indicates a routing strategy for calls with a certain prefix.
The route selection source code is related to the caller. The route selection code is related to the called.
Internal Use
Basic Concepts
The failure source code numbers different processing methods for the connection failure of calls from different call sources.
Different causes may relate to different connection failure processing methods, such as route reselection, signal tone playing, or triggering NCSIDP4.
Internal Use
Basic Concepts
MSISDN, the MSOFTX3000 will get the route information of the callee from HLR. If HLR returns a roaming number or forwarded-to number, the MSOFTX3000 will conduct a second number analysis (that is, it will analyze the call prefix again
according to the number that HLR returned) to find the outgoing route.
A called number is changed through the prefix processing. If the processing type is "reanalysis" (conduct number analysis again), the MSOFTX3000 will also carry out the secondary number analysis, that is, to analyze the changed number with the call prefix analysis table to find the outgoing route.

Certain class of subscribers is only allowed to dial specified numbers. Some subscribers are not allowed to dial certain numbers. Play announcements to the caller when the call is forwarded in the local office.
Service Check:
Check whether a caller is authorized to make calls. You can set the service check type, check mode, and conversation duration restriction.

Basic Concepts
EARLY ACM: On receiving Initial Address Message (IAM) from the previous office,
the local office confirms that the called number is received completely
and promptly sends ACM back to the previous office before the callee responds.

Internal Use
Basic Concepts
Forwarded-to Number : When the local office is the terminating office, if a call is forwarded at the local office,
Original Called Number : When a call is forwarded for once or times, the first called number is called the
Connected Number : When a call is originated from the local office (originating office) and is forwarded from terminating office B to office C, the final called number

Questions
Whats different between calling number analysis and calling number attribute analysis? Whats different between calling number analysis and number initial special processing?
47
Internal Use
Answer
calling number analysis: based on calling number; calling number attribute analysis: based on attribute calling number attribute analysis is only used when calling number analysis was not used;
calling number analysis: based on calling number; number initial special processing: based on called number.
