Contain a specialised cellcell communication pathways known as plasmodesmata.

Havechloroplasts, which containchlorophyll, a green coloured pigment.

Make its own food in the process is known asphotosynthesis. Cell division by construction of a phragmoplastas a template for building a cellplate late in cytokinesis.
