This Project entitled OPENING A SEA FOOD RESTAURANT IN NEW DELHI Prepared by a team of four members .

The relevant data and information collected from different sources like website, and through personal investigation.
For this project work, I would like to thank my Guide Mr. RAMNISH JASSAL (chef) for their efforts and guidance in preparing the project report.

The proposed seafood restaurantand market analysis discussed in this projects . With the help of our market survey we can analyze that the restaurant has a considerable amount of acceptance. We have discussed the location, site, atmosphere, service and menu of the restaurant in concern. The market analysis reveals the most preferred location in Delhi for a restaurant as this can attract college students and tourists both domestic and international and the local one. Keeping in view a restaurant of 80 covers, its kitchen, stores, guest and staff areas, car park etc,

To critically evaluate and analyses whether the opening of the sea food restaurant is financially socially and environmentally sustainable visable or not.

Our topic is opening a sea food restaurant in New Delhi, this involves gathering and analyzing the information, which helps us to make a better decision about the potential success of opening a sea food restaurant in New Delhi. The main objectives of this research is studying the possibility of opening a new sea food restaurant in New Delhi

As we have seen that sea food is one of the most delicious food. People now are mostly attracting towards sea food reason? Because its full of protein it also gave warmness to human body and over all its good for health .Awareness of people towards sea food is increasing day by day. Moreover it is preferred by all age group. We choose our location New Delhi because first of all it is the capital of our country and metropolitan city and people from different community and location can be found there here both international and domestic tourist visit. In Delhi we have choose the south extension because here maximum gathering of the people can be seen because of shopping malls, institutions ,big showrooms, banks, multi complexes

OPENING DATE: The restaurant will open on 24 December 2012 because its Christmas Eve on 24 and the gathering of people on that day is more than the normal day everyone wants to enjoy their eve with full of joy and we have a good chance to prove our service
LOCATION: South Extension, nearby the institutional area and shopping complex, because here maximum gathering of peoples whether they are business man due to opening of various offices there, students and because there are many big showrooms and complex people visit there of all age. Foreign tourist attracts more towards this area because of the availability of all kind of things there like household things .electronics and many more.

ABOUT SEA FOOD RESTAURANT: Sea food as the name depicts the food from sea animals such as crab , lobsters , prawns different varieties of fishes , tandoori prawns , here sea food from all over the world is served. ABOUT DELHI: Delhi is the capital of our country . it attracts the tourist because of its historical monuments such as Red Fort build b by Shah Jahan ,India Gate built in memory of the INDIAN JAWANS who sacrifice there lifes for our nation. One can find the gathering of crowd both the domestic and international.

About 3000 Sq.Ft of the site is taken up by the building and the rest of the 3500 Sq.Ft is used for car park, garden and drive away. Thus the total project covers 6500 Sq.Ft. The dcor in the restaurant would be simple and relaxed atmosphere. A casual table service was opted with a base of sea food theme. The most important aspect in the restaurant is the menu. It has been decided and planned keeping in mind the national and international tourist. Two simple menus are designed. One is served during lunch and dinner time and other is served during the break time between lunch and dinner.

So according to our covers we have planned that total of 6 waiters, 1 supervisor and 1 Manager have been decided upon for the restaurant which operates from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm
The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 57, 00,000, which includes cost of land .The cost of Land has been analyzed as Rs 1, 23,000 in the proposed location. and for 15 cents of land the cost is worked act as Rs 18, 45,000.

Project Clearance : It requires the clearance from the DOT , foreign collaborations, lease deeds, agreement, carbon land sealing etc. are required from the concerned authorities. Use of Land : The authorities are to be approaches are Ministry of works and Housing or Local Authority or Town Planning Department . Clearance for Covered Area : This is to be obtained from local Govt. or Municipal Authorities or Land and Development officer. NOC For Electricity : The electricity department is to be approached along with an application indicating the total load required.

Fire fighting : This is to be obtained on advice from Local municipal Authorities when submitting drawing and after completion of construction. The approval is given by Director or Chief fire officer of the Local fire fighting authority.
Water supply : As soon as the construction is started approval is taken from the water works department . Use of explosives/ Gas storage Tank : This is required at the drawing stage the water works Department. Health : Before opening a hotel for guests , the clearance is required. From Health Inspector/ Health Department . of municipal corporation

For the smooth functioning the main aim to advertise the product in such a way that it is able to draw attention . several packages , attractions and curiosity is added to the advertisement so that is creates a general feeling among the masses that they should at least pay a visit to such a unique restaurant .
Banners , posters and pamphlets are used in this process. The best aim is to invest about 2% of the capital in advertisement through a reputed advertising agency

Local local customers are the key to achieve financial sustainability. Good infrastructure and ambience attracts tourist. More variety and choices in food attracts more customers . Successful restaurant will survive only with the sufficient budget . Transportation is the key element for the smooth functioning of restaurant In order to achieve the much need sustainability high quality value added service and continuous improvisation is a must .

On the basis of our question no.8 of employee questioners hypothesis 1 is accepted by the researcher. Hypothesis 2 is accepted from question no.9 of employee questioners. Hypothesis 3 is accepted from the question no.5 of the guest questioner. Hypothesis 4 is accepted from guest questioners no.9 Hypothesis 5 is accepted from guest questioner no. 7

Our prime objective in the next five months is to withstand our market and to attract more people in order to earn name and fame and establishment of the multicuisine restaurant inside the restaurant. To evaluate and analyze the taste and preference of costumers that what actually they want to have . To evaluate and analyses the perception of the people towards sea food. To critically know about the suitable environment for setting up a restaurant To critically evaluate and analyze whether with the passage of time the sea food restaurant will flourish in New Delhi or not specially with the concern of competition

We use the random sampling in my research during my survey in which I got feedback from the guest and the employee of the hotel by filling up my questioners on opening of a sea food restaurant in New Delhi. It is a primary research. it helps us in analyzing the data for implementation of our research project plan

analyzing the data gathered from market survey we come to a conclusion that there is a need of a sea food restaurant in South Delhi. Hence we can say that with the passage of time it will survive
