Fishers wives are idle gambling, increase in population 3. People are more into organic foods and visitors of Bohol look for restaurants serving these

Situational analysis: 6. Volume of Bohol farm produce too small to support local needs hence, approx. 60% of veg. supply of hotels, resorts and restaurants purchase vegetables from Cebu, Cagayan, and other nearby provinces 7. Almost 80% of resort owners in Panglao are foreigners or outsiders idle lots are sold by locals

8. Panglao island was formerly known as an agricultural area with best ube kinampay, mango, banana, spices, corn, etc. But thing changed after too much extraction of fresh ground water 9. No support of any kind from the MLGU - specifically on livelihood

1. Low fish catch- lessen pressure and look of alternative livelihood 2. Idle wives empower them 3, Lack of support from MLGU implement interventions with hope that they will do the same 4. Lack of supply of farm productscover the demand thru farming

Objective
Provide alternative livelihood for idle locals women and youth (and utilize idle lands Decrease pressure to marine environment and fishery by at least 20% Link the businesses to the community corporate citizenship Promote organic farming

EXPECTED OUTPUT
25 households gain additional income from organic farming at least Php ___/mo 5 barangays per 5 HHs 20% of organic vegetable supplies (as identified in a study of DA-ATI) for ABCAI member companies obtained from the local bio-intensive vegetable gardens
