Order taking and measurements designing and cutting Stitching Ironing
Process
The order is taken from customers The customers select the design and give the measurements or sample The ordered is delivered after 15 days of order If the order needs to be fulfilled before 15 days, additional charges are taken
Management
Revenues generated are spent over salaries, electricity, taxes and purchase of material and equipments Profits are distributed equally among designer and machine operator after deducting expenses The promotion is done only through WOM In case of absence of staff, work is done by other staff members Alterations are done free of cost
Management
Salary is fixed as per time devoted i.e. 8 hours @ Rs.5,000/ Thread are bought from Vardhman wholesalers from Jamnagar Magazines are bought from Ashiyana Designers (Rajkot)

The tailor can broaden the scope by starting a boutique He can appoint additional tailors for catering more customers in short time duration He can extend his target market to men He could make use of automated machines to make process faster

The potential threat is the competitors i.e. the other tailors and boutiques In case of mistakes committed by the tailor, there would be dissatisfaction among customers who may spread negative WOM Demand for Readymade garments Western trend
